MGP Manager season 2018 Pre Season

Pre-season testing starts in Valencia, this is Jordi Torres first time on the bike so it will be interesting to see how he goes.

After the Valencia test, my team gave their opinion of the 2018 machine, it seems that other than an improved swingarm which should result in improved rear tyre wear, the rest of the bike will take some development during the season.

Staff contracts needed renewing.

Alvaro Bautista announced that he will be retiring at the end of the season so I will need to find a replacement rider for next season. Also Valentino Rossi made the announcement of the season when he announced that he will retiring at the end of the season.

After pre-season, Alvaro Bautista finished on average in 16th position with Jordi Torres taking time to adapt to the bike down in 23rd place. I'm hopeful that Bautista can carry this form into the racing season and score points, I'm also confident that Torres will be a good signing for the team.

Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso are favourites for the 2018 title, so it'll be interesting to see if Maverick Vinales can compete and challenge to retain his title.

Next event is the GP in Qatar.
